The June 8th Cedar Creek Summer Expo was E-VENTS’ first public expo where over 45 lake area home & dock builders, landscapers, realtors, service providers, retailers and dealers showcased their products and services for the Cedar Creek public. Attendees were treated to national TV performers, expert speakers and live demonstrators with an abundance of video and state of the art internet technology spread throughout the 15,000 square foot facility.
Along with the commercial businesses and performers were the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake and several lake area volunteer organizations including Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation, Cedar Creek Library, Gun Barrel City Toys For Tots and The Rotary Club of Cedar Creek Lake. The full days’ event commenced with a ‘Salute to America’ beginning with the recognition of World War II Retired Air Force Major John White who held the American Flag during the Pledge of Allegiance while Tammy Hurley sang the National Anthem acapella.
Cedar Creek’s favorite MC, Scott Tuley was Master of Ceremony for the day. Numerous presenters spoke both on and off stage with live video feeds broadcast via six large wall mounted display screens interconnected via 25 mb/s internet thanks to Gun Barrel City Hughes Satellite dealer AllPro Communications. A live stream connection to all the participating exhibitors was also supported with www.cedarcreeklake.online from the high speed internet thus offering both a virtual exhibit in addition to the physical E-VENTS Expo.
Eric Gore, E-VENTS’ Executive Director, Summer Expo Co-Producer and Publisher for CedarCreekLake.ONLINE said, “Huge thanks goes out to the Cedar Creek Chamber of Commerce and, of course, we could not have done it without our title sponsors, Elder Cedar Creek, Coldwell Banker ADR, Dickey’s Mabank, Legacy Lifts and Parks Home Construction. Special thanks goes also to Gun Barrel City Upholstery and Hoffman & Brandi Marett for having on display a fully restored, 1961 Chris Craft boat!
Ray Martin, E-VENTS Center Owner and Co-Producer for Summer Expo said, “We knew several building improvements were necessary to make this week’s event a first-class experience for our exhibitors and their guests. Judging from the comments after the expo closed on Saturday afternoon, we’re expecting next year’s event to be bigger and better with all of the exhibitors returning and more coming for the first time! For the future, we envision much more grounds investment and even hope to work with city and other public/private partners to grow the E-VENTS Center into the kind of environmental friendly destination that all Cedar Creek citizens and visitors will want to enjoy for the future.”
Gore added, ‘We have a number of public and charitable cause marketing events planned over the next year, in addition to a really big one for the public that the E-VENTS Center is planning to produce ourselves this fall. We are working with partners outside of the immediate Cedar Creek area so believe it could drive a bigger audience which could be great for the Cedar Creek area at large! Look for some multi-channel media announcements coming late this summer!!
But, for any public or private organization considering a large event needing anything from just private or public space to a full turn-key immersive experience including event planning, marketing, social media, community outreach & engagement, coordination and organization, we can provide these services as needed, either directly and/or with one or more of our established event partners. We can also highlight your event and any and all business partnerships with our online sister internet property cedarcreeklake.online, a subscription based directory listing service 100% focused on Cedar Creek Lake area businesses and local customer shopping.” Eric Gore
